Sharing A Story

May 6, 2025

People love stories. Especially your own. I’ve shared before that the goal of a founder is to give great clarity to users, followers, investors, and so on.

In the early days of the company, I did a pretty weak job at it, because it wasn’t a skill over product that I had routinely developed. Most of my experience had been working with tech executives and other very formulaic minded managers with infrastructure jobs.

The story I’ve shared with others recently, however, has been more confident and more focused:

  1. We’re building a social client called Uno.
  2. We’re building data inference tools with Waypoint.

It’s much less detailed than before, but also more polished. We were getting in our own way letting folks paint the picture theirselves.

As a team, we’re finally getting to a place where we can stretch our legs and stand on our own faculties in this space. That’s exciting because the determinism we have can be directed at things we should be able to quickly accomplish. But it’s taken a year to get to this point.

The summer is approaching quickly, and we’re going to start writing down how we think about the world, the policies we need, and the challenges we face.

We’d love feedback, please reach out if you think we’re saying the right things, or we’re drowning in our own problems.
